--- Gentco Logistics Holds 2023 Semi-annul Meeting

From August 9th to 12th, the 2023 Gentco Logistics Semi-annul Meeting, themed "Embrace Globalization with Open Arms; Boost Informatization with Ceaseless Efforts", took place in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. The event was graced by the presence of Junzheng Group's Board of Directors and Gentco Logistics' management teams across departments. During this gathering, various business units presented their 5-year development plans, aligning with the conference's overarching focus on globalization and informatization. A cadre appointment meeting was also held during the event. 



On August 9th, middle and senior managers from Gentco Logistics and Beijing Bohui Innovation Biotechnology Group embarked on a leadership team-building hike named "United Towards the Future" at Lianyungang's Fengshu Bay Scenic Area. The hiking activity demonstrated the Junzheng people's resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity, as well as their cohesion, solidarity and sense of shared purpose. 


On August 10th, the scheduled 2023 Gentco Logistics Semi-annul Meeting unfolded at the Jiangsu Haizhou Bayview Conference Centre in Lianyungang. In the morning session, representatives from the Tank Container Logistics Business Unit; Wang Hongyan, General Manager of Lianyungang Terminal; Si Liang, General Manager of the Chemical Tanker Business Unit; and Sang Yang, General Manager of Asia Leasing, each revisited their units' historical achievements and presented forward-looking five-year business plans. The inclusion of this new segment not only provided recognition of logistics' accomplishments but also direction and confidence for future growth.


Later in the day, a cadre appointment meeting took place for Gentco Logistics. General Manager Ms. Wang Qi encouraged cadres to embrace challenges, new knowledge and skills, and underscored the significance of bold assumptions, meticulous validation, and rational deduction. She also urged continuous efforts to establish and refine scientific management systems and supportive structures, enhancing efficiency to fortify core competitiveness and foster a people-centric culture characterized by openness, inclusivity, and resource sharing. Following the meeting, attendees visited the Lianyungang Terminal.


On August 11th, based on the conference theme of “Embrace Globalization with Open Arms; Boost Informatization with Ceaseless Efforts”,  participants from diverse departments engaged in discussions revolving around how to leverage their 5-year plans to advance technology innovation, system operation, business upgrading, market expansion, talent management, financial control, system improvement, asset management, and more - contributing ideas and suggestions to drive the company's external globalization and internal informatization. 


On August 12th, Mr. Zhang Jie, Vice President and Board Member of Junzheng Group, Ms. Wang Qi, General Manager of the company, and Mr. Huang Hui, President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Junzheng Group, each delivered concluding remarks. 
Mr. Zhang emphasized the critical tasks of rapid capability building to close gaps in strategic execution and functional support. This requires strengthening professional competence, expert teams, process robustness and agility, and leadership management.
Ms. Wang stated that adapting to macro changes and market shifts requires company-wide efforts to address weaknesses and embrace globalization and informatization. She stressed that people are the company's greatest asset, and the “people-centric” culture must motivate employee potential. Furthermore, she urged company cadres to reflect humbly on their shortcomings, learn from peers, and break down silos to share expertise across departments.

Mr. Huang noted that in light of future plans, we must think clearly, understand the logic, and set direction while considering the unpredictable global economic, political, and social landscapes. He then advocated for unified thought in the realm of Informatization and the cultivation of cultural awareness and regional market understanding in the context of embracing globalization.


To conclude, a collective vote and evaluation led to the recognition of outstanding contributors. Ms. Geng Yangyang, General Manager of the HQ Finance Center; Mr. Jason Huo, Deputy General Manager of the Tank Container Logistics Business Unit; Mr. Daan Muizer, IT Director; Mr. Michael de Rijk, Deputy General Manager of Gentco Logistics and General Manager of the Tank Container Logistics Business Unit; Mr. Duan Shiyi, Foreign Trade Operations Manager of the Chemical Tanker BU; and Mr. Tang Yupeng, Head of the Foreign Trade Marine Engineering Department, were honored with the "Best Knowledge Sharing Award" for their contributions to the company.
