Roles and Responsibilities:

1. As the head of deck department and substitute for the Master, to assist the Master;

2. As safety officer, to be responsible for all safety work onboard; to chair the safety meeting and execute the decisions;

3. As anti-pollution manager, to be responsible for the management and instructions of pollution;

4. As security officer, to be responsible for the vessel daily security jobs; to assist the Master with the security affairs onboard;

5. During the voyage, to participate in watch-keeping of steering, cargo and port;

6. To develop and implement loading, unloading and stowage plan; to sign and be responsible for the shipping documents;

7. To instruct and monitor the loading/unloading of cargo, and to take care and custody of cargo during the voyage;

8. To be responsible for the cargo operation, tank cleaning operation, ballast water management.


Desirable qualifications:

1. Physical health;

2. Holds a class a first chief officer certificate;

3. Have good professional quality and good experience in chemical operation;

4. Have a high degree of career ambition and responsibility;

5. Familiar with relevant international conventions;

6. Excellent language skills and extensive sire & CDI inspection experience;

7. Ability to lead deck crew to complete ship maintenance safely and efficiently.

Second officer (Domestic) 2 person - -
Roles and Responsibilities:

1. To assist the Master and Chief Officer with the work of deck department with their instructions;

2. To make the voyage plan and report it to the Master for approval;

3. To participate in navigational watch, watch of cargo handling and port watch when at the port;

4. During the cargo handling, to operate in accordance with the plan made by Chief Officer;

5. When entering or leaving the port/at the anchorage/being in shift of berth, to be responsible for stern work;

6. To correct charts and nautical publications; to check all navigation-related contents and prepare the report;

7. Be responsible for GMDSS equipment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. To assist the Master and Chief Officer with the work of deck department with their instructions;

2. To fulfill all tasks assigned by the safety committee;

3. Before entering or leaving the port, to measure clock and correct the time; to test the clock after the consultation with the engineer and report the result to the Master;

4. During the cargo handling, to operate in accordance with the plan made by Chief Officer;

5. To fulfill watch-keeping during the voyage and other related work at the port;

6. To be responsible for life-saving and fire-fighting;

7. Ship’s finance records and statements;

8. Assistance with food supply and management, and stocks check at the end of every month.

Third engineer (Domestic) 4 person - -
Roles and Responsibilities:

1. To assist Chief Engineer and First Engineer with the work of engine department with their instructions;

2. Prior to entering and leaving the port/shift of berthing, to test the clock and other related equipment to ensure that they are in good condition;

3. To participate in watch-keeping arranged by Chief Engineer;

4. 2.5.To be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the following equipment:

   1) Hygiene system, seawater system and related equipments

   2) Freshwater system and related equipments

   3) Sewage system, ballast system and fire-fighting system

   4) Oil and water separator and burning heaters

   5) Water-made equipment and related equipments

   6) Fans of pump room and engine room

   7) Mooring deck machinery

   8) Cargo pump system and tank cleaning equipment

   9) Emergency equipment within his responsibilities

5. To complete the maintenance of fixed and portable equipment within his responsibility, the spares supply, the consumption statistics, and the record of inventory.
