On November 25th, Gnetco Logistics and China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yangzhou Jinling") held a signing ceremony in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province for establishing a long-term in-depth partnership and signing the shipbuilding contracts on the first two 25,900 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers. Mr. Fang Yunhu, General Manager of Yangzhou Jinling, Mr. Wang Dong, Chief Engineer, Mr. Chen Yuan, Deputy General Manager of Yangzhou Jinling, Mr. Lin Li, Vice President of ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), Mr. Liang Zongqing, General Manager of Shanghai Odely Marine Engineering, Mr. Wu Guirong, Executive Deputy General Manager of Gentco Logistics, Mr. Si Liang, Deputy General Manager of Gentco Logistics and General Manager of Shipping BU of Gentco Logistics, Mr. Xu Jiajun, Executive Deputy General Manager of Asset Management Department and Mr. Liu Renjie, Head of Supervision and Construction Department of Shipping BU of Gentco Logistics attended the ceremony.
These two 25,900 dwt stainless steel chemical tankers were designed by Shanghai Odely Marine Engineering and classed by ABS. The vessel is 157.99m long, 27m wide, 14.2m in depth, 9.5m of design draft and 10.4m of scantling draft,service speed 14 kn, fully complying with Tier III and EEDI III requirements, a new generation vessel featuring green, eco-friendly and energy efficient.

Gentco Logistics "25900 Project" is the first medium-sized stainless steel chemical vessel project undertaken by Yangzhou Jinling in China, which is a remarkable milestone for Yangzhou Jinling. Domestic chemical tanker project can not only meet the demand to fill the yard capacity and will also gradually become one of the main ship types of series production of Yangzhou Jinling, and thus help Yangzhou Jinling to actually achieve its development goal of "dual recycling of domestic and foreign trade and providing quality construction services to local ship owners".
