On October 25th, the steel cutting ceremony for SC Shipping's 25,900 DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker No.1 built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry ("Wuchang Shipbuilding") was grandly held in Wuhan.
The event was honored with the presence of XU Jiajun, General Manager, Asset Management Department of Gentco Logistics, WANG Kai, Technical Department Manager SC SHIPPING, and the Company's resident supervision team, LI Tao, Business Department Director of Wuchang Shipbuilding, and ZHU Qikai, Chief Surveyor, Nanjing Branch of the American Bureau of Shipping.
At 10:58 a.m., Mr. XU Jiajun pressed the start button, signifiying the official commencement of the construction of the 25,900-DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker No.1.
This year, SC Shipping entered into a contract with Wuchang Shipbuilding for the construction of ten 25,900-DWT stainless steel chemical tankers, and this ceremony marked the commencement of construction for the No.1 tanker. The series of tankers are designed by Shanghai Odely Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. and classified by the American Bureau of Shipping.
