On June 17, 2024, the propitious keel-laying ceremony for SC Shipping's first 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker was celebrated at the China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng Co., Ltd. (Jinling-Dingheng).
This vessel signifies the first domestic medium-sized stainless steel chemical tanker project undertaken by Jinling-Dingheng and is part of the initial batch of 25,900 DWT chemical tankers commissioned by SC Shipping. Designed and developed by Shanghai Odely Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. and classed by ABS, the vessel incorporates cutting-edge eco-friendly technologies and design principles.
The seamless progression of this project has solidified the foundation for the construction of the second vessel and the subsequent series.
