On March 28th, SHUI RONG, the 9,200 DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker No. 2 built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. ("Wuchang Shipbuilding") for Shanghai SC-STOLT Shipping Ltd. ("SC-STOLT"), was successfully delivered, marking the successful completion of SC-STOLT's 9,200 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker project.
SHUI RONG is a new-generation high-end stainless steel chemical tanker designed for domestic and international trade, embodying technological leadership and environmental friendliness. The vessel is designed by Shanghai Odely Marine Engineering and classed by the China Classification Society. With the addition of SHUI RONG, SC-STOLT's operational capabilities will be further enhanced, enabling the company to provide customers with safer, more efficient, and greener services in the future.
The 9,200 DWT duplex stainless steel chemical tanker, classed by the China Classification Society and flying the five-star red flag, is a product oil/chemical tanker suitable for global navigation. The vessel meets Tier III emission requirements. Compared to similar vessels, it features lower fuel consumption, higher loading capacity, and larger tank volume, making it a new-generation high-end stainless steel chemical tanker that combines technological leadership and environmental friendliness.
