From August 13 to 17, the 2024 mid-term meeting of Gentco Logistics was grandly held in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Themed “Solidifying the Foundation of Digital Management and Building Global Operational Capabilities; Commit to Truth and Pragmatism, Strive for Excellence, Benchmark Against Global Standards, and Optimize Operations”, the event brought together leaders from the Junzheng Group’s Board of Directors, management from various Gentco Logistics departments, and key personnel to strategize and advance together.
On the morning of August 14, attendees joined a kayaking activity admist beautiful scenery around the rippling Jiulong Lake to enjoy the sense of accomplishment brought by teamwork. The domino building in the afternoon made them feel that only by working together can they create infinite possibilities. They rebuilt confidence, broke limitations and challenged themselves in the process of flipping and starting over again and again !
On August 15, the meeting was held in a new form of breakout sessions by business sector. With a focus on the meeting’s theme, seven groups brainstormed and thought about organizational construction, information capabilities, operational efficiency and management system, putting heads together to come up with a series of “Junzheng solutions” for shaping the “future of logistics”. After a day of heated discussions, representatives of each group shared their insights on the morning of August 16.
On the afternoon of August 16, WANG Qi, General Manager of Gentco Logistics, and HUANG Hui, Vice Chairman of Board of Directors & President of Junzheng Group and Chairman of Gentco Logistics, delivered their closing remarks. WANG Qi emphasized the importance of maintaining an open mindset, creating a learning atmosphere, nurturing more professionals with a global vision, and enhancing inter-departmental collaboration to boost the company’s comprehensive strength and market competitiveness. HUANG Hui highlighted the need to benchmark with industry leaders, identify gaps, drive technological and managerial innovation, set ambitious yet achievable management goals, and continue to build a learning organization. He urged management to fulfill duties diligently and build a corporate culture that pursues excellence and maximum efficiency.
The mid-year meeting concluded successfully, with participants gaining a deeper understanding of the meeting theme through discussions and presentations. It is anticipated that everyone will carry forward the spirit of the meeting, continue to “Commit to Truth and Pragmatism, Strive for Excellence”, and contribute to the company’s high-quality development!
