On October 12th, SC SHIPPING's 25,900 DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tanker No. 1 built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry ("Wuchang Shipbuilding") was successfully launched at Wuchang Shipbuilding. The ceremony was attended by SC SHIPPING's resident supervision team, Wuchang Shipbuilding's project leaders, representatives from the American Bureau of Shipping, and other distinguished guests.
The successful launch marks the official transition of the vessel into the mooring trial phase, providing significant support for the subsequent sea trials and delivery. This series of ships, carrying the mission of SC SHIPPING's green shipping upgrade, integrates dual breakthroughs in intelligent navigation and low-carbon operation: it has obtained smart ship certification, features an efficient power system compliant with IMO Tier III, and is compatible with future methanol fuel retrofit plans, establishing a leading position in the green and intelligent shipping sector.
